Last Friday, I went to dinner with member of TOEFL class. Because that day we ended the class.

First, we went to Andes. It is restaurant of Peruvian dishes. I had never eaten Peruvian dishes. We ate many dishes. For example, tacos, coconuts curry, and so on. We also drank foreign alcohol. I like tecate. It is beer, it from Mexico. I think it is easer to drink than Japanese beer.

Then, we went Jaff’s world bar. It’s world bar and there are many foreign people. I drank many grass of alcohol. In this bar, almost people speak in English, so we also speak in English, too. I think this bar is very good. Because drink are delicious and cheap. And we can improve own skill of English conversation. Tuesday is universal student’s day. You can drink all alcohol in 400 yen!! Usually, you can drink as much drinks as you want for 2000 yen in 2 hours. Why don’t you try this bar?? This bar located at “simo tori”.

Gmail and writing studio blog

Gmail is very useful software. You can send E-mail and check it anywhere. And you can enjoy chat with anyone who has a Gmail address. If you get invitation from Gmail user, you can get the Gmail address free.
Last February I got my Gmail address. Because I need it for my writing class. Prof.Tomei send me the invitation. At first, I did't know Gmail. Getting my Gmail address was easy for me. And I can get it immediately. After I got my Gmail address, I chatted with Prof. Tomei.
I use a Gmail except writing class. For example, I send some pictures by Gmail. I use these pictures for this blog. You know, this blog can post anywhere, too. So if I send pictures on Gmail, I can post blog with pictures. Some times I also send draft for my paper by Gmail. I have to write many papers but I don't have enough time. So in lunchtime, I think aboute my paper, type a part of draft, and send it for my Gmail address by my celluar phone. After that, I'll open that mail, and cut and paste a part of draft into Word. It is very useful tool, isn't it?
I'll talk about Writing studio blog. It is Prof. Beaufait's blog. Of cause there are information for our writing class. But there are many kind of posts. For example, restaurant review, movie review, and so on. Some times I need my English dictionary for read this blog. Bat it is not so difficult for me and maybe I can increase my vocabulary. This blog has many pictures and rinks. I think this is a fun blog.

Before I start this blog, I don’t like to write in English, because it is very hard work for me, and I need much time. But now, I write easier than before. It is fun for me to post my article on my blog. I want to be better blogger.

I think this class is very unique. In this class, I could remove fear of writing from me. Making blog is fun. Comments from my classmate became encouragement to be better writer. If you write the more, you would be the better writer.

I got it !!!!!

Last Sunday(July 8), I had a Kumamoto competition of brass. It was my first time to take part in adult part. And I took part in this competition after an interval of 4 years. So I was a little nervous. But I did my best!! Our brass band got a gold prize, and we can go to Kyushu competition!!! I was very happy :-) we have a Kyushu competition on August 26 in Nagasaki. I’ll practice to play the trumpet very hard. I want to get a gold prize on this competition.

bar review

I recommend 2 bar.

The first one is “bar Milan”. We can drink as much as you want for 1000 yen an hour there. And you can sing too! It’s very cheap isn’t it?? This bar’s drink is very good. I like this bar. If I have party at near this bar, and I want to drink more, I’ll go there. This bar is not so big. So actually, I wouldn’t want to teach this bar. This bar is located on sakae street, and in front of “second site”. If you have a chance, please try this bar.

The second one is “yonenoya”. This is Japanese bar. This bar saves many good dishes. Maybe you will be able to satisfied with many dish. This bar has a big room. So you can have a big party there. If you tarn the corner of “ikedaya” on shimotori, you can find this bar on your right hand.

COMPETITION

This weekend, I have a big competition. It’s a brass competition of Kumamoto prefecture.

I'm a little nervous. If we get a greate prize, we can go to Kyuusyuu competition. I want to go it. I'll do my best!!!
