Book Review 2-02: Anne of Green Gables

Anne was from orphanage at Nova Scotia to Green Gables, it house of Miss Marilla Cuthbert and Mr. Matthew Cuthbert. They wanted a boy from orphanage. But a girl came to them house by mistake. At first, Miss Marilla thought about send back Anne for orphanage but Miss Marilla very sorry for Anne, so she decided to raise Anne in her house. Anne has red heir, she don’t likes her hair. Anne likes to fantasy and she is very smart girl. She graduated at the top of her high school and went to college. Studying at college is much cost. Matthew worked very hard but he was not so young. That is why he died. So Anne decided to work for Green Gables. She became school teacher.　[127]

Yester day, I watched "Mirai yosou zu". I got preview ticket from my friend. That day, she had a part-time job, so she couldn’t watch preview. She knew that I missed the drawing this preview, so she gave me a ticket. I was very glad to get a ticket.

This move is a little sad, bad make me happy and I realized it is important that say my mind honestly to someone who my important parson.

I didn’t know that Mr. Takezai, supporting actor of this move, is from Kumamoto. He graduated from Kyusyu Lutheran College. I was surprised. On October 13, he will back to Kumamoto and greet on stage. I want to go but I can’t. This day, I have class…If you are interested in this move why don’t you go theater on October 13? [137]

School festival

Our school festival will start at November 1. So we will have no school from October 31 to November 3. I don’t belong to any club activities. Now I have no plan to what to do during school festivals. But may be I will watch live of FLOW. Actually I don’t know this group very well. So I would like to lentil some CDs from my friends or lentil shops. One of my friends will go to Korean!! I think it is very good. If I have a lot of money, I would like to some where. But I have no money. First of all, I have to do some part-time job. Then, I have to save my money. [102]

Book Review 2-01: MOBY DICK

Moby dick is a very famous story. I learned this story in my American literacy class. So I know this story roughly. It is written by Herman Melville. This story’s first sentence is “call me Ishmael”. This sentence is very famous.

Moby Dick is the most dangerous whale in the oceans. Captain Ahab is looking for this whale and he want to kill this whale, because he was lost his leg by this whale. Ishmael and his friend, Queequeg, became crew of Captain Ahab. One day they fought against Moby dick. Queequeg’s prediction came true. All of the Ahab’s men were died from Moby dick except Ishmael. He was saved from queequeg’s coffin.

What happen??

My TV and Internet was broken (/o;) I didn’t know what happen. I called my apartment’s maintenance man. I said “Hello… my TV was broken.” “I know that. Now it is repairing.” He said. I couldn’t understand what he says. I said “what do you mean?” he said “All of your apartment’s TV is not working!” When I heard that, I was relives, because my TV is not broken!! Around 9:00 p.m. my TV was repaired. But my Internet is broken yet. Why?? Today, I will call maintenance man again and ask. I want to use Internet soon!!! [98 words]

welcome party

I took part in welcome party at dorm of exchange students. I was late for the party for around 30 minutes because I had a TOEFL class. When I arrived at dorm, there were many people and most of foods did not stay. I would eat something special foods (T^T). At this party, I got addresses of exchange students from SMU. '07 Summer vacation

I passed the exam of exchange students!! From next August to April I’ll study abroad in Canada. I am very happy. Now my TOEFL score is very bad. So I have to study English very hard. I think it is not easy for me to polish up my English skills. But I think it is for me to study English very hard. So I’ll do my best. I cannot wait for next summer. [73 words]

dolphin watching

I went to dolphin watching with Saline. She is from Canada. She have never watched dolphin. We can watch many dolphins in my home town, so we went to there.

Today’s weather is not so good. But there are many people for watching them. We could watch many dolphins. I and Saline was very excited.

Day before yesterday, my uncle and aunt came from Nagoya to Amakusa. They have 4 children. They are very cute. The eldest daughter is 7years old, and the youngest sun is 6mounths old.

Yesterday, we did BBQ at my grandmother’s house. We ate a lot of beef, fish, and chow mein. It was delicious. After the BBQ, we went to summer festival. It hold by my grand mother’s house. Then, we did fireworks. It was fun and beautiful.

Today, they’ll back to Nagoya. Maybe I’ll meet them at New Year’s Day. I want to enjoy with them next time, too.

☆FIREWORKS☆

　　　


Yesterday I went for fireworks in Tamana. I wore yukata (an informal cotton kimono for the summer season) by myself. Walking with yukata and geta (Japanese clogs) was a little hard for me. Fireworks held in Kikuti River. There were many booths. We bought “hasimaki” (it likes okonomiyaki) and a shaved ice with syrup on the top. It was delicious. Fireworks were very fantastic!! 9000 fireworks were launched. It was very impressive. I was very satisfied.
